Born in Flint, Michigan in 1966, he married his sweetheart of 3 years, Cindy, in 1985 and has since been blessed with three wonderful children.
After receiving the Holy Ghost at age 16, he served in many different ministry positions, including teaching Sunday School and working in the bus ministry. He has worked 16 years with the youth and served 5 years as the Children's Ministry Director at South Flint Tabernacle, pastored by Rev. Robert E. Henson.
He has been licensed with the United Pentecostal Church International since 1997.
In 2005 he started to conduct Kid's Crusades across the state of Michigan until he was elected as the full time pastor of Crossroads Apostolic Church in Howell Michigan in April of 2009, where he continues to serve.
Michael J. Brown is also the founding pastor of Living Water Church of Fenton founded in 2017.
Pastor Brown serves as the Assistant Mens Director of the Metro Detroit District of the UPCI.
